Hot off the presses!

Road closures and repairs - Tiz the season of the orange cone ...

Here are some directions for getting to the little party by the Quarry ...
I have set up two maps giving alternate routes to take. They're about a horse apiece time-wise.

For those of you traveling from the SOUTH, these will apply after Oct 5 when
DOT will be kind enough to completely close of exit # 128 at Hwy 42.

Route 1 going thru Town

Route two goes on secondary roads and
doesn't have as much traffic

For those of you coming from the NORTH and WEST (on and after Oct 5),
this currently applies and will continue to stay the same thru the weekend

For those coming from the West, this is a good way
now, and the only way on Oct 5 or later

For those of you coming from the North on I-43,
this should be good thru the weekend

Happy cone dodging!!

Wigwam Ultimax 2007 information

* Come on people! Bring your bikes and bad ole selves to Sheboygan and start riding the new course. Yes I said new. My copilot and I have been busy coming up with ways to make the course as fast and fun as ever. We have redesigned a significant portion of the course to change up the 'feel' of the route while leaving all the main elements in place. The log jump and Equalizer will be there to test your mettle as always. The water crossing is in as well, just going the other way this time :-) and Witch's hollow is making a return this year.
mmMMmm sweet flow-nation is going on!
Come up on Wednesday nights to find a local guide and "see" the new route. Practice up your skillz to shoot for the Equalizer cash grab, or the "holeshot" prime.
I am working on a little map of this so you can more closely follow the changes. Two hints: Water crossing in reverse and Roots of evil is in reverse also ... I see upper body aches by race end! Mwhahahah. The open road feel will be limited a bit, but an eye has been kept to leaving in plenty of passing zones. I'll try to get out in the next week or two and put some paint marks on the ground to help also.
Bring some good legs and a water bottle, you're gonna want to play all day!

We have some road construction going on at Hwy42 so those from the North will need to follow detour signs. From the south it goes to Hwy 42 as normal and then to the course.

* Lets talk WIGWAM Pro purse.  The Fatkats have a commitment again from Wigwam for a significant purse and primes BUT, we still have to hammer out the details on where its going when we know the totals! We will finalize prize details this Thursday.

* Bicycleworks Holeshot Prime. The guys from Bicycle Works are continuing this great Prime! First 3 to cross the line PER WAVE will receive 20, 10 and 5 bucks respectively. You must return to the holeshot line and talk to the Bicycleworks guys to get your money. They wont look for you. They enjoy Cold Beer and Sunshine. Help 'em out!

* WIGWAM Equalizer hill climb. The tradition returns as we hand a 5 spot to all who climb it. HOWEVER, we must limit the amounts to $100 for Cit, $250 for Sport and $500 for Comp\Elite. Any money left over will get rolled into the next class with the balance spent on the Pro\Elite.

* Raffle. You will receive a raffle ticket when you register. Hold onto it and show up for the awards\raffle at TBA. We really are trying to outdo ourselves with raffle items and variety. More info as it comes along.

* Citizen Youth:  Yep, the little ones are gonna rock the Evergreen side of the course once again. They will start and finish on the Evergreen side doing a slightly shorter version skipping the Quarry side.
