Saturday MTB Breakfast Ride!

This ride starts a Lakeview Park, also known as Shooting Park. Park is located on south side of town across the street from Watry Ind, about a quarter mile north of the power plant (look for the big chimneys). This ride leaves at 830am and rides south. Destination is Cedar Grove, WI where we stop for breakfast. Although we do hit some trails, the ride is about 70% road.

The group spends about an hour to eat breakfast and then  back to Sheboygan via trails and road. Return time is approximately noon to one. The leaders stop regularly to regroup.

When the weather get cold, the group will ride the beach on frozen sand. The riders have a good mix of MTB's, cross bikes and maybe a single speed or two.  Length of this ride varies between 30 and 40 miles depending on wind and weather. I would call this a ride for intermediate to experienced riders. But if I can do it, most others can too! This ride is a must do all winter long, I recommend it to all who have been riding all summer and need to keep up your fitness into the winter.

From I43, get off at HWY 28 (Washington Ave) turn right (east) and go until you cant anymore. You will come up to a "T". Turn left, one block up on the right!
